Dr. Pauline M. Maki wins the 2023 Health Education Visionary Award from the Society for Women's Health Research.

At the Annual Awards Gala in Washington DC last month, Professor Pauline Maki was awarded the 2023 Health Education Visionary Award from the Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR). The award was presented to her by Sudip S. Parikh, PhD, CEO for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and executive publisher at the Science family of journals, who won the award in 2022. Each year, the SWHR Annual Awards Gala honors leaders who have significantly advanced women’s health throughout their careers. Past honorees recipients include Nora Volkow, MD, Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and Valerie Montgomery Rice, MD President and Dean of the Morehouse School of Medicine.
