Project for Research on Work and Well-being
Dr. Rospenda’s research focuses on how work-related stressors including sexual harassment and bullying contribute to mental health and substance use, and how these relationships may differ by gender. Her large survey projects have been conducted in community, nationally-representative, and college samples. She is currently exploring cognitive mechanisms that may explain why some people who experience serious workplace stressors are more likely than others to experience harm to their mental or physical health, or to use substances.
