The PEACE lab is just getting started, but Dr. Suor is open to training motivated individuals (undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows) who are interested in getting involved in the lab’s research and have a passion for helping children and families living in stressful environments. If you are interested in the work that we do, please email your updated CV/resume to Dr. Suor at jesuoratuic [dot] edu (). In your email, please share how your interests align with the lab and how we can help you achieve your goals.

Opportunities available to current undergraduate students looking for research experience:

UIC students: we enroll students in independent study (PSCH 396) nearly every semester. Students can enroll in PSCH 399 after they complete two semesters of PSCH 396.

If you are an undergraduate at another university, there may be remote and in-person volunteer opportunities. Please email jesuoratuic [dot] edu () to inquire about training opportunities.

Opportunities available to prospective graduate students:
There are no current opportunities for prospective graduate students.

Opportunities available to current graduate students and postdoctoral fellows:
If you are a graduate student in psychology, psychiatry or a related discipline, and are interested in training in the PEACE Lab, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Dr. Suor is always open to being a mentor on talented students’ NIH F31 and F32 fellowship applications. If you are a clinical psychology student applying to UIC’s internship program and interested in a clinical research rotation with Dr. Suor, feel free to reach out with questions about research opportunities during internship.
