Dr. Rudd is always open to training and collaborating with students interested in community-partnered research, implementation science, and improving behavioral health outcomes for vulnerable youth. If you want to build CAPACITY, we want to help you. Opportunities available to current undergraduate students looking for research experience in the Chicagoland area:
If you are a UIC student, we enroll students in independent study (PSCH 396) nearly every semester. We typically ask students to complete 1–2 semesters of PSCH 396 before they enroll in PSCH 399.

If you are an undergraduate in the Chicagoland area (or beyond), there may be volunteer opportunities for you as well!

Summer Research Opportunities Program: Brittany is an active faculty member in the SROP. This 8-week program is a full-time research experience. Please read here for more information.

Opportunities available to prospective graduate students:
Dr. Rudd will not be reviewing clinical psychology applications for the UIC clinical psychology doctoral program for this upcoming cycle. Continue to check back for updates!

Opportunities available to current graduate students and fellows (near and far!):
If you are a psychology, psychiatry, law, or any other graduate student interested in training within CAPACITY Lab, please reach out. Dr. Rudd is always open to being a mentor on talented students’ NIH F31 predoctoral fellowship applications. If you are a clinical psychology student applying to UIC’s internship program and interested in a research rotation with Dr. Rudd, feel free to reach out with questions about research opportunities during internship.

Opportunities available to post-docs:
Dr. Rudd is always interested in working with talented graduate students and interns who want to write NIH F32 postdoctoral fellowship applications and Diversity Supplements, or a T32 Department of Medicine post-doctoral positions.
