Dr. Brittany Rudd was recently awarded two contracts, in partnership with Dr. Naomi Goldstein from Drexel University, to study juvenile justice reform efforts. The first, funded by the Office of the U.S. Department of Justice, focuses on the development of a coaching strategy to support school police officers using trauma-informed, positive behavioral interventions and supports. The second, funded by the United Way, evaluates an initiative to provide restitution payments to victims while eliminating the burden of payment from youth and their families.
