About
Dr. Tamayo returned to UIC in 2023. She completed her MD, PhD and psychiatry residency at UIC and works with Jesse Brown VA Medical center. She completed undergraduate students in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at the University of California, Davis. She also completed an undergraduate and masters degree in Engineering and Material Sciences at University of California, Davis. She leads interventional psychiatry at Jesse Brown and supports the education of medical students studying psychiatry and UIC psychiatry residents.
