About
Steven joined UIC in 2023. He completed his master’s degree in clinical psychology at The Chicago School in 2024 and is pursuing his doctoral degree here as well. Steven’s clinical experience ranges across the lifespan in diverse settings, including rotations at Rush University Medical Center, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. His training has focused primarily on the neuropsychological evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD), as well as several sub-specialties such as memory disorders, concussion, transplant, vascular neurosurgery, and epilepsy. Therapeutically, Steven practices cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with teens and adults for a variety of psychological disorders, as well as ADHD. He also specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and the treatment of other sleep-wake disorders. Steven has research interests in sleep, ADHD, and performance validity testing (PVTs). He has published in several journals including Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Applied Neuropsychology: Adult, Psychiatric Research and Clinical Practice, among others.
