Sara Kashani, MD, PMH-C, is a board-certified and Harvard-fellowship trained reproductive psychiatrist who received her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. She has also completed a clinical fellowship in Women’s Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Her clinical interests include reproductive psychiatry, perinatal mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-informed care and other conditions, such as ADHD and OCD. She is certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), having completed Postpartum Support International's (PSI) evidence-based training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, as well as advanced training in perinatal psychopharmacology.
