Prabsimarn Kaur

Prabsimarn Kaur is a current graduate student at Dominican University who is currently working as a research assistant at the UIC Neuropsychiatric Institute, focusing on neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology. Her research will focus on patients with neurological conditions, such as,stroke, epilepsy, dementia, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, etc. Often, neurological conditions promote cognitive, emotional, and behavioral issues, so this experience will allow Prabsimarn to learn and obtain knowledge of both mental and physical aspects of illnesses.
