Dr. Holtzheimer’s research program at Dartmouth is focused on the neurobiology and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder. Current methodologies include functional and structural neuroimaging (including EEG) and focal neuromodulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and deep brain stimulation.
