Maria Delgado MSHRM

Maria Delgado is a dedicated Human Resource professional with a passion for fostering positive relationships, efficient processes, and inclusive environments. Her previous experience includes working in the private and public sector with over 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, employee onboarding, leave of absences, payroll, HR systems and record management.

Previously, Maria served as an HR Coordinator with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Innovation at UIC. There she oversaw the recruitment and onboarding for various employee classes, including Academic Professionals, Civil Service, Extra Help, Graduate, and undergraduate student employees. Additionally, she provided collaborative efforts to ensure smooth HR processes, including payroll, leave management, appointment processing, and employee engagement.

Maria currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from National Louis University.
