Amanda Myers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In 2016, she received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work (JACSW). In addition, Ms. Myers received a certificate from the Integrated Evidence-Based Behavioral Health Care Training program while at JACSW, which focuses on practical skill development of evidence-based therapy techniques for individuals aged 5-15 years old. Ms. Myers has received 40-hour Domestic Violence Training from the Centralized Training Institute (approved by Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional Board) and 40-hour Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Training from YWCA (certified by the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault). Ms. Myers has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric residential, a shelter for women and children surviving domestic violence, and in community mental health. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and their families who encounter challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma exposure.
