Leyanna Clark is a research volunteer at PINNA lab. She will receive her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in May 2026. She is currently studying the role of neuroactive steroids in PTSD. Leyanna plans to apply to medical school to become a physician.
Interests
Leyanna Clark is interested in studying the symptoms of PTSD, specifically regarding sleep and the correlation they can have with neuroactive steroids, in hopes of finding a treatment option.
