Dr. Ventura is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry with a specialization in pediatric neuropsychology. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She completed a 1-year Clinical Internship in Pediatric Psychology at Rush University Medical Center and a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. Clinical interests include the neuropsychological assessment of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of medical, neurodevelopmental, genetic, psychiatric, and learning disorders. Dr. Ventura’s research broadly aims to understand the neurocognitive sequelae of complex medical conditions, as well as the effects of their treatments.
