Dr. Jennette is Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.
Dr. Jennette earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Flagler College, master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of South Florida, and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He completed his Clinical Psychology Internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at UI Health.
Dr. Jennette’s clinical interests include the neuropsychological assessment of complex medical/neurologic patient populations, neurosurgery, COVID-19, solid organ transplantation, and dementia. He has established outpatient specialty clinics for adults with memory concerns and candidates for organ transplantation surgery.
Dr. Jennette’s research is broadly focused on correlates of executive functioning and memory across the lifespan. He is particularly interested in the relationship between health behaviors (e.g., aerobic exercise, sedentary behavior, medical treatment adherence), functional connectivity in the brain, and neurocognitive functioning. He is also interested in multidisciplinary translational research, functional neuroimaging, and the psychometric/diagnostic properties and clinical utility of neuropsychological tests (e.g., performance validity tests).
