Krystal Del Castillo is a current PGY-1 resident physician in the General Psychiatry Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine and completed her medical education at the University of California, Irvine - School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include child & adolescent psychiatry, correctional psychiatry, public psychiatry, and trauma. In her free time, she enjoys journaling, reading, weight-lifting, taking care of house plants, attending concerts, finding new good coffee shops, and spending time with loved ones.
