Dr. Kristin Moilanen is a Visiting Senior Research Specialist affiliated with the Life Experiences and Well-Being in Adults Study, and is the current Editor in Chief of the Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology

Dr. Moilanen completed her Ph.D. in developmental psychology in 2005 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her postdoctoral fellowship in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Moilanen was previously an assistant/associate professor of Child Development and Family Studies at West Virginia University. Her research interests include development in adolescence and adulthood, self-regulation, and risky behaviors and maladjustment (e.g., sexual risk-taking, substance use).
