Katrina Wugalter is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago. Katrina studies the changes in brain structure and function that influence women’s memory skills during menopause and the years that follow. She is particularly interested in understanding the brain changes that make certain women more vulnerable to Alzheimer’s disease. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada in 2021.
