Karen Basurto is a recent graduate of Northeastern Illinois University where she obtained a B.A in Psychology and Sociology. Karen has assisted a few research studies involving drug addiction recovery, death perception changes between younger and older adults, and priming within intimate relationships. This is her first opportunity working within the clinical field. She is currently working on researching graduate programs and finding more opportunities to become involved with more diverse research.
