About
Gabby is a 5th year doctoral candidate at Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to her doctoral studies, she received her Master of Public Health and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Clinically, her interests are neuropsychological evaluation and rehabilitation intervention for adults with dementia, physical disability (e.g. spinal cord injury), traumatic brain injury, and neurological or neuropsychiatric disorders. Her research interests broadly include adjustment to disability, rehabilitation, positive psychology, social determinants of health, and psychosocial factors that contribute to outcomes for neurological disorders and injury. Additionally, she serves as the senior representative for the rehabilitation focus group for the Association of Neuropsychology Students and Trainees (ANST).
