Emily Church developed a course BIOS 386 together with Mike Alpert and Ignacio Covelo, in which undergraduate neuroscience students read and evaluate primary research papers. Each instructor (GPN students are the instructors) teaches a class delivering background material on the paper to be discussed and then another
class to facilitate the discussion. All GPN students in their third year (or above) have participated and BNTP Postdocs also teach in this class.
