About
Elisa is a Neuropsychology Extern and doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She received her BA in Psychology and Comparative Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her MA in Psychology from UIC. Her research interests surround the interplay between cultural factors, adverse childhood events, and social functioning in relation to psychosis and psychotic-like experiences. She additionally examines the possible influence of smoking tobacco and cannabis on these research domains.
