Ross Pepper is a current PGY4 resident in the General Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Illinois Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Rice University and subsequently graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. His clinical interests include mood/anxiety disorders and cross-cultural psychiatry.

To provide current information on research, treatment, and policy issues relating to psychiatry and its adjunct fields
- Understand the long-term effects of trauma
- Describe the various mechanisms by which trauma can be transmitted to future generations
- Explore avenues for improvement in treatment and prevention of trauma-related disorders
