Event Details
Dr. Keedy trained as a clinical neuropsychologist and focuses on identifying neural system abnormalities underlying psychotic disorders. Various neuropathologies have been identified in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but the relationship of such findings to symptom expression is rarely demonstrable. This presentation reports on efforts to assess whether improved hallucination measurement precision yields this needed insight, specifically with respect to top down control of sensory processing and to general cognitive abilities.
