John Zulueta MD | Assistant Professor of Psychiatry | Director, Ambulatory Program | University of Illinois Chicago
John Zulueta, MD is a psychiatrist and clinical informatician interested in fostering the union of psychiatry with informatics and data science. Among these interests include the creation of digital phenotypes of psychiatric disorders and the use of data derived from clinical care such as healthcare claims and electronic health records to improve clinical care and operations. He has worked on projects including creating models to predict the likelihood of patients not presenting for their appointments, characterizing outpatient physician prescribing selectivity, developing metrics to better measure patient access and clinic utilization, and analyzing medical claims data to derive care episodes.
