The national Psychiatry Students Interest Group Network (PsychSIGN) provides medical students interested in psychiatry with various resources, information, and opportunity bulletins. More information can be found here. There is also a on-campus student interest group at UIC called PsychEd!.

Medical students at UIC can apply to the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation-Jay G. Hirsch Medical Student Fellowship Program, which supports young investigators engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of neurological and psychiatric disorders.
