Therapeutic Residential Performance Management Initiative (TRPMI)

About Us

The Therapeutic Residential Performance Management Initiative (TRPMI) is a pilot program developed and implemented pursuant to the DCFS BH Federal Consent Decree. TRPMI, a collaboration between DCFS, NU and UIC, is designed to effectively evaluate and promote clinical therapeutic residential program effectiveness, enhance youth treatment, progress and transitions back into the community, and identify system capacity and barriers that impact agency, youth and family outcomes. The program is clinically driven, trauma-informed and team oriented with a focus on utilizing continuous quality improvement (CQI) methods and addressing organizational culture and climate. The pilot is being evaluated by Chapin Hall at University of Chicago.
