Peer Support in Higher Education

Staff:

Karen Unger, M.S.W, Ed.D. with Susan Langi, B.S., R.T.

Purpose:

This manual, co-developed by Dr. Unger and a group of mental health consumers with whom Dr. Unger works in California, was designed to provide support to consumers who are pursuing post-secondary education.  This manual provides information for individuals who wish to become peer support counselors, as well as strategies for how peers can convene their own support groups while attending post-secondary school.

You can order the manual, Peer Support for Students in Postsecondary Education, from our Supported Education Publications page.
