Gibbons et al Report on Illinois Foster Placement Intervention for Black Children
A scholarly article entitled “Profiling of county-level foster care placements using random-effects Poisson regression models,” has been published in the current issue of the journal Health Services and Outcomes Research Methodology. Authors of the article are Robert Gibbons, Ph.D.; Kwan Hur, Ph.D.; Dulal Bhaumik, Ph.D; and Carl Bell, M.D. The article reports on the methodology of an evaluation of a county-level investigation and intervention aimed at reducing the rate of foster-care placements of African American children in Illinois.
Winer Edits New Book on Psychoanalytic Views on Spirituality and Religion Jerry Winer, M.D., is editor of a newly published book, “Spirituality and Religion: Psychoanalytic Perspectives. James W. Anderson is co-editor of the book, published by Mental Health Resources, Catskill New York. The book is volume 34/5 of The Annual or Psychoanalysis. Prakash Desai, M.D., co-wrote one of the chapters.
