  State Funds Perinatal Mental Health Project, Services Now Available
  The UIC Perinatal Mental Health Project recently was funded by the State of Illinois, and the project’s services are available. The statewide project trains health care providers to detect, diagnose and treat perinatal depression and anxiety disorders. Health care providers can receive telephone consultation, free of charge, from women’s mental health clinicians within the program by calling 800-573-6121 or on line at http://www.psych.uic.edu/clinical/HRSA.
  
  Leventhal Named New Medical Director of eAACAP Online Educational Resource Bennett Leventhal, M.D., has been named the new Medical Director of eAACAP, a web-based educational resource that will develop information and learning packages from existing and future information about childhood mental disorders from the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. During the two-year appointment, Dr. Leventhal will partner with AACAP staff and AACAP President-Elect Robert Hendren, D.O., to develop eAACAP. Dr. Leventhal has an excellent knowledge of AACAP educational resources and programs, as well as web-based training and development.
