Grayson et al to Present at CNS Diseases Congress June 25-26
Dennis Grayson, Ph.D; Marija Kundakovic; Erbo Dong; Ying Chen, M.D.; Alessandro Guidotti, M.D.; and Erminio Costa, M.D., will present a paper, “Methylation and the Regulation of Reelin and GAD67 in Schizophrenia,” at the third annual CNS Diseases Congress June 25 and 26 in Boston. The group’s collective data strongly imply that human reelin and GAD67 genes are coordinately regulated through epigenetic mechanisms that include the action of DNMT1.
Christophersen to Join June 14 Panel Discussion on Maternal Depression
Rebecca Christophersen, APN, CNP, will participate in a panel discussion called “Healthy Moms, Healthy Children, about how maternal depression impacts families and communities. Free event will begin with a reception at 7 p.m. June 14 at the DuPage Children’s Museum, 301 N. Washington, Naperville, followed by the program, which will begin at 8 p.m. Other panel discussants will be The Hon. Don Harmon, Illinois Senate; Dr. Linda Gilkerson, Erikson Institute; and Joan Mudd and Jennifer Mudd Houghtaling from the Postpartum Depression Foundation.
