We offer patients with severe mental disorders state-of-the-art evaluations, new and advanced treatments, and extended inpatient care in a convenient, safe, and comfortable environment.

Our immediate goal is to relieve the suffering of the mentally ill patients in our clinical research programs. At the same time, we help introduce new treatments into general mental health practice. Most importantly, every patient we treat contributes to the base of scientific knowledge necessary to develop cures. Our research promises to bring hope to patients with severe mental illness and to set new standards for mental health care. We are currently working on projects which include: Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) for treatment of depression, new treatments for mania, GABA treatments for schizophrenia, atypical antipsychotics for water intoxication, and sensory gating and genetic studies in psychotic patients.
