on Human Responses to Social Catastrophes to Host Rountable Discussion
The
UIC International Center on Human Responses to Social Catastrophes ( ICORC ), directed
by Stevan
Weine, Ph.D., will host a roundtable discussion entitled "Documenting
the Unimaginable" 2 p.m., Wed., Oct. 23 room 305 PI W. The discussion
will be led by political journalist Bruce Shapiro of the DART Foundation,
The Nation, Yale University and Slate.com. Other participants in the discussion
will be Kevin Barnhurst, Ph.D. (UIC Communication); Maria Benfield and
Chris Bratton, of the Art Institute of Chicago; Gordon Quinn; Silvia Malagrino,
MFA (UIC); and Milos Stehlik of Facets Multimedia. For more information
