The Institute for Juvenile Research SAFE Children Program was cited as an exemplary prevention program by the National Institute of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Program. SAFE Children has previously been identified as a model program by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration and the Department of Education.
