Channels 5, 9, Interview Stout on Impact of War Coverage
Last Wednesday WGN-TV Channel 9 Morning News interviewed Christopher Stout, Ph.D., Clinical Professor of Psychology in the Department, on the impact of TV news on families and the general public. On Thursday, WNBC Channel 5 Morning News interviewed him on the same topic. Dr. Stout is editor of the four-volume book, "Psychology of Terrorism," and co-editor of a new book, "Psychology of Conflict and War."

Flaherty, Connolly Interviewed on War: Stress on Adults, How to Talk with Kids

, M.D., was interviewed on NBC Channel 5 News last Wednesday discussing stress in adults as it relates to advent of war in Iraq. Sucheta Connolly, M.D., director of the Pediatric Anxiety Disorders Clinic, was interviewed by Channel 5 News last Tuesday on how to talk to children about war.

Chicago Tribune Magazine Quotes Janicak on Paranoid Schizophrenia
A recent edition of the Chicago Tribune Magazine included an article that quoted Philip Janicak, M.D. The article was a first-person account, "My Private Chorus of Chaos," written by a person with paranoid schizophrenia.
