Grossman
Receives Society for Personality Assessment Klopfer Award
Linda
Grossman, Ph.D.,
recently received the 2002 Walter G. Klopfer Award, bestowed annually
by the Society for Personality Assessment for an article that makes a
distinguished contribution to the literature in personality assessment.
The award was granted in recognition of an article entitled "Can
sex offenders who minimize on the MMPI conceal psychopathology on the
Rorschach? Journal of Personality Assessment, 78, 484-501, (2002)"
by Dr. Grossman and her co-authors, Drs. O.E. Wasyliw, A.F. Benn, and
K.L. Gyoerkoe, K. L. (2002). There were 14 nominees for the Walter Klopfer
Award this year. JPA Editor Gregory Meyer, Ph.D., noted that Dr. Grossman's
article "stood out above the rest and was clearly the most highly
rated." A check and honorary plaques will be presented in March at
the Midwinter meeting of the Society for Personality Assessment.
