Cook receives $1.25M from U.S. Labor Dept., Announces New Center Title

Judith Cook, Ph.D., recently received a $1.25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy. Over the next five years, Dr. Cook and her staff will work with the Chicago Workforce Board on improving the service delivery system for people with severe mental illness in the city's "One-Stop" Employment Centers. In light of the new funding and its federal policy source, Dr. Cook's old program (Mental Health Services Research Program) has been renamed the Center on Mental Health Services Research and Policy.
