Leads Use of Evidence-Based Practice in New Texas Mental Health Benefits

facilitated a 2-day meeting attended by the nation's leading experts on
evidence-based psychiatric rehabilitation services in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Cook is facilitating the redesign of a benefit package that will include
integrated psychiatric rehabilitation and clinical services for the first
time in Texas history. Along with faculty from her Center,
Dr. Cook will be studying the client- and system-level impact of radically
restructuring services available to Texas citizens with severe mental
illness.
