Committee on Status of Women Presents Mentor of the Year Award to Cook

The Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women (CCSW) last week announced that Judith Cook, Ph.D., will be one of three recipients of the CCSW 2002 UIC Mentor of the Year Award. Chancellor Sylvia Manning and the CCSW will present the awards at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., October 11 at the Chicago Illini Union Recovery Room, 828 South Wolcott Ave. The campus community is invited to share in the celebration. The two other recipients named are Susan Scrimshaw, Ph.D, Dean of the School of Public Health, and Brenda Russell, Ph.D., Executive Associate Vice Chancellor for Research.
