|Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders|
The Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders is the site of the Autism Center of Excellence, one of 6 research centers funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Development of NIH. The Center focuses on determining the causes of autism and related disorders and contributing to development of new treatments, including clinical trials of new medication, behavioral or group treatments. Neurochemical, neuropeptide, and molecular genetic research tools are used to study the developmental basis of neurobiological disorders in the Laboratory of Developmental Neuroscience. The center also includes the Neurodevelopmental Psychopharmacology Clinic.
