Outpatient Psychopharmacology Program

The Psychosis Treatment Program has a dedicated outpatient psychopharmacology program. We use a recovery-oriented philosophy based on the Presidents New Freedom Commission report on transforming mental health care. Each patient's individual goals are reviewed within the context of the pharmacologic treatment. We are knowledgeable and experienced in the use of all approved antipsychotic medications. For those with persistent psychosis, we have a clozapine specialty program. For patients who have difficulty managing daily medications, we have a program that gives long-acting injectable therapy between every 2 weeks to every 4 weeks.

Robert Marvin, M.D. and Sean Conrin, M.D. are Co-Directors of the psychopharmacology outpatient program, both of whom specialize in treatment of psychotic disorders. Our consultant pharmacists are Jeffrey Bishop Pharm.D, BCPP and Shiyun Kim Pharm.D. Sharon Midcalf is the administrative staff. The program sees patients every Monday afternoon. While each treatment is individualized, most patients are seen on a monthly basis. Patients are referred and seen by appointment only.
