Janine Rosenberg, Ph.D. joined the University of Illinois Medical Center Department of Psychiatry in June 2010. She has been serving her role as clinical psychologist in the Hyperactivity, Attention, and Learning Problems (HALP) Clinic at IJR. In April 2013, she took over as director of the HALP Clinic. The HALP clinic serves patients including children, adolescents, and adults who require psychological testing to address ADHD, learning problems, and comorbid psychiatric disorders. HALP Clinic also provides individual and family therapy, school observations, consults, and parent training services. Dr. Rosenberg is also Assistant Clinical Director for Camp STAR, a summer treatment program for children with ADHD and related issues.
Since July 2006, Dr. Rosenberg has also taken on the role as pediatric psychologist and is part of a multidisciplinary team at the UIC Craniofacial Clinic. This clinic is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with cleft lip and palate and other congenital craniofacial conditions.
Dr. Rosenberg has been actively involved in research with various populations, including children with cleft lip and palate, adolescents with ADHD, and children and adolescents with kidney disease.
Dr. Rosenberg received her undergraduate degree at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. and her Master’s degree in General Theoretical Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J. Dr. Rosenberg completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology in May 2005
