After Graduating from Child and Family Psychiatry fellowship program at Brown University I joined their faculty. My primary appointment was on the child/adolescent inpatient unit. In addition, I was involved in clinical research trials in the areas of Mood Disorders, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Currently, I am the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Assessment and Treatment Unit, which is an inpatient unit at UIC hospital that treats severely mentally ill adolescents who are in DCFS Custody and who have failed several interventions. I am also involved in conducting clinical trials at IJR in the areas of Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Autism, and ADHD.

Interests:
My interests are in inpatient treatment, severe mental illness, childhood trauma and its effect on development.
