Dawn Dudek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the Northern Illinois University  and her Masters of Social Work at the University of Illinois’s Jane Addams School of Social Work at Chicago.  Dawn has twenty one years’ experience as a psychiatric social Worker at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs working in a variety of Mental Health programs including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, Addictions and the Healthcare for Homeless Veteran’s program.  For the last seven years, Ms. Dudek has been serving as the Lead, Suicide Prevention Coordinator at the Jesse Brown VA Medical center in Chicago, assisting high risk for suicide military Veterans in Chicago and North West Indiana.  Additionally, in her role as Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Ms. Dudek has provided extensive community outreach and education related to Veterans’ Suicide to an array of organizations including the Illinois National Guard, The Joint Commission and the Chicago Police Department.
