Dr. Massie is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UIC. She is a member of the department’s Mood and Anxiety Program and specializes in the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy for the spectrum of anxiety disorders. Dr. Massie also teaches and supervises psychiatry residents through the Residency Education Program. Her clinical and research interests include comorbidity of anxiety and substance abuse, trauma and PTSD, and cognitive-behavioral treatment outcome.

Dr. Massie earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her clinical internship at the Hines VA Hospital and a postdoctoral fellowship in the specialty area of anxiety disorders at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
