Eileen Martin, Ph.D.
Associate Professor and Director, Neuropsychology
Emartin@psych.uic.edu

My primary research interest is neurocognitive effects of HIV-1. Current studies on this topic include working memory, decision-making and risk behavior in HIV-seropositive drug users, neurocognitive function in HIV-seropositive women, cognitive effects of antiretroviral therapy, and neurobehavioral aspects of adherence with protease inhibitor therapy. In addition, my group is currently collaborating on studies of executive and other cognitive functions in schizophrenia, cognitive side effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, and AIDS education for mental health providers.
