Sex Differences
Females:
- more often reported symptoms of chest pain (40% v. 28%) (x2 = 7.16, df=1, p<.01)
- were more likely than males (15% v. 5%) to be prescribed medications for anxiety or depression (x2=17.65, df =1, p< .001)
- Had significantly higher scores on all three factors of the CAQ (Fear, Avoidance, HFA)
