Hyperactivity, Attention and Learning Problems Program (HALP)

The Hyperactivity, Attention, and Learning Problems (HALP) Clinic, under the direction of Janine Rosenberg, PhD, provides psychological evaluation, testing, and consultation services for pre-school and school age children, adolescents, and young adults. HALP clinic addresses concerns with ADHD, learning problems, and other present psychiatric disorders.

  • Pharmacological and Psychological Services
  • Parent Training
  • School Consultation

In addition, HALP clinic is part director of a summer treatment program, Camp STAR, for children with ADHD and related behavior problems (www.jcys.org/campstar). HALP also has research opportunities related to youth with ADHD.

Trainees from pediatrics, psychiatry, and psychology may rotate through this clinic and learn multidisciplinary evaluation and consultation skills. A psychiatrist is also available through HALP clinic for a follow-up consult if medication is recommended.
