- From the north, take I-90/94, Kennedy Expressway, to I-290 West, Eisenhower Expressway.
- From the south, take I-90/94, Dan Ryan Expressway, to I-290 West, Eisenhower Expressway.
- From the west, take I-290 East, Eisenhower Expressway.
- Exit the Eisenhower Expressway at Ashland/Paulina. Turn south on Ashland Avenue. Continue South on Ashland Avenue to Roosevelt Road. Turn west (right) onto Roosevelt. Institute for Juvenile Research (IJR) is located on the corner of Roosevelt Road and Wood Street.
- Patient parking is available in the parking structures at the corner of Paulina and Taylor and on Wood Street one half block south of Taylor Street.

Take the 54th/Cermak train to the Polk Street stop. Walk west on Polk Street to Wood Street. Walk south on Wood Street to Roosevelt Road.

Take the #37 Sedgwick bus to the Taylor and Paulina stop and walk south to Roosevelt Road or take the #9 Ashland bus to the Roosevelt Road stop. Walk west on Roosevelt to corner of Roosevelt and Wood.
