ICORC Center Core faculty member Dr. Chris Stout        awarded the APA 2004 International
Humanitarian Award

ICORC Center Core faculty member Dr. Chris Stout, a member of the Conflict
Resolution Action Committee, has been awarded the APA 2004 International
Humanitarian Award.

Chris edited the four volume set "The Psychology of Terrorism", as well as
the soon to be published version of it for the general public.
He is editing the soon to be published "The Psychology of Conflict and War",
also with Praeger. Chris has been a contributing member and author on the APA
Task Force on the Psychological Effects of Efforts to Prevent Terrorism. He
is an adjunct associate professor on the UIC Department of Psychiatry. He
will be part of a Task Force panel presentation at the APA convention in
Hawaii.

At his own expense, Chris has been part of several international medical
teams such as Flying Doctors of America. And he has scaled the highest
mountain on several continents with his fundraising proceeds aiding groups
such as Flying Doctors.
